ANOTHER PAMPER SESSION FOR THE MUMS, NANS AND SPECIAL FEMALE FRIENDS

Clifton Creek Primary School held their annual “Mums, Grans and Special Female Friends Dinner” on Thursday night. Students and staff had been busy preparing for the occasion that has become a favourite ‘Creek’ ritual.

Guests were guided along the path illuminated by fairy lights and then seated at the specially decorated table setting. Students served the scrumptious meal prepared during the school Kitchen Garden session guided by Kitchen Garden Master chef, John Ireland. Pumpkin Feta Pies, Vietnamese coleslaw, rice and Thai Green Chicken preceded the delicious Chocolate cake with cream made by the students.

Children pampered their special guests with hugs, flowers, gifts, cards and entertained with acrostic “mum” poems and PowerPoint presentations.

“It was a great opportunity to get everyone together and celebrate and acknowledge the females in our lives”. Maddy

“My mum and nan came and loved the night especially the school made gift” Meg

Every year I am amazed and extremely proud of our students. They really embrace the opportunity to pamper their mums by spoiling them with homemade gifts and cards and serving them their sit down meal.
