In 2013 Hilary and the children spent some time planting small native shrubs as part of our ResourceSmart accreditation for the Energy module.  This means we are replacing vegetation to offset our electricity usage.  Thank you to the Landcare Network for supplying plants, hole diggers and tree guards. In these photos Sommer digs another hole and Blake shows Hilary the tree guard he has placed around a newly planted yam daisy.

The Junior Room students became  “rubbish detectives” earlier this year and their task was to investigate the types of litter at Clifton Creek Primary School.

All students participated in drafting a litter reduction plan and policy to take to school council. Here Prep- Gr 2 student were Rubbish Detectives to do a Litter audit of the school grounds.
